Dawn is a long-time Charlottesville resident with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Skilled in Financial and Estate Planning, she specializes in developing comprehensive financial solutions with an emphasis on building personal relationships. Dawn’s responsibilities include oversight of client services and overall business success of the firm.
Dawn has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia, her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation from the American Bankers Association as well as her Accredited Wealth Management Advisor® and Certified Financial Planner™ designations from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Everyone's situation is unique, so Dawn holds herself accountable to recommending strategies with your needs and goals in mind. She takes the time to talk with you, get to know you and gain an understanding of the critical aspects of your financial life, so she can assess the interaction of multiple objectives to make sure that your retirement is everything you want it to be, whether you are just starting out, rapidly approaching age 65 or already retired.
Dawn has also been an active leader in the community and has served on a number of local boards including Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee for the Center at Belvedere (formerly the Senior Center), Past Chair, Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, Past President, Charlottesville Rotary Club, Past President, Central Virginia Estate Planning Council and The Women’s Initiative Finance Committee member.
Outside of the office, Dawn and her husband, Ted enjoy hiking, kayaking, Pilates and watching University of Virginia sports.
