Who We Are

Maurée L. Barrett, CFA is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Old Dominion Capital Management, Inc. Her primary responsibilities include involvement in daily client account reviews, implementation and monitoring of client accounts with investment policies, and trading of securities. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the investment area of the First Union National Bank Trust Department with client portfolios, investment policy and recommendations, and securities trading. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.

 
 
 
 
 
 

 
Laura L. Brier is an Administrative Assistant for Old Dominion Capital Management. She is responsible for assisting clients with administrative account matters, as well as taking care of general office duties.  Prior to joining the firm, Laura was a Customer Service Representative at AB&C Group, Inc.







 
  

 
Amy W. Burke is an Administrative Assistant for Old Dominion Capital Management. James M. Childress, CFA is a co-founder, Principal, and Managing Director of Old Dominion Capital Management, Inc. His primary responsibilities include oversight of client services, and he is involved in security selection and investment strategy for the firm. He has over 20 years of professional investment management experience. Prior to co-founding the firm, he was an Investment Broker with A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
 
 
 
 

 
  
 

  
Michael J. Ginty, CFP® is an Investment Counselor for Old Dominion Capital Management, Inc. His primary responsibilities include client service and financial planning for the firm. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a financial advisor in the Philadelphia area specializing in high net worth executives and professionals. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board.


 


 
 
  

  
John Kiers III, CFA is a Vice President and Senior Investment Counselor. He has 18 years of experience in the bank trust department and investment counsel industries. His primary responsibilities include client services. Ernest Rockey, Jr. AAMS ® is an Investment Counselor for Old Dominion Capital Management, Inc., and his primary responsibility is client service.  Ernest has over 20 years experience in financial services, including 14 years as a financial consultant at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.  He graduated from La Salle University with a focus in Finance and Economics.

His primary responsibilities include oversight of portfolio management, security selection and investment strategy for the firm. He has over 20 years of professional investment management experience. Prior to co-founding the firm, he was an Investment Broker with A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. Sandra K. Wyatt, CRC® is an Investment Counselor for Old Dominion Capital Management, Inc. Her primary responsibilities include client service and financial planning. Prior to joining the firm, Sandra worked as an investment advisor in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She received a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree concentrating in Economics and Finance from Wayland Baptist University, is a Certified Retirement Counselor, and has passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ examination.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

    
In memory of Alfred "Pete" C. Morley, CFA. Pete served as Senior Director of Old Dominion Capital Management, Inc. from 1989 until 2002. He was a past president and CEO of the Association for Investment Management and Research, the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, and the Financial Analysts Federation. He also served on the Board of Directors of two New York Stock Exchange traded funds, the Thai Capital Fund, Inc., and the Singapore Fund, Inc. He had over 50 years of professional investment experience and had served as the President of the Frank Russell Investment Management Company, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wainwright Securities, Inc., and Treasurer of Vanderbilt University. He received a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Economics from   West Virginia University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
